oddbhostappservices::readfile() occasionally throws an exception

oddbhostappservices::readfile() occasionally throws an exception with the attached file. autocad doesnt have any problems with it.
can anyone suggest what the problem might be?

which dd version and on what platform do you use?
how to reproduce the problem?
btw, autocad's recover reports invalid rows count for e6c and e86 dbminsert entities but it should not be a problem for dd to load the file.

sorry i should have posted this info straight away. i'm using dd v1.10 and the odread example on windows xp.

for win32 we have libraries for vc6, 2002, 2003 and borland builder. debug and release.
i tried to 1.10 update 1 with vc6. it works.
btw, the latest available version is 1.11u1 and in a week 1.12 is expected.
