file cannot be opened.

hi,
the attached file cannot be opened by opendesign but can be opened by autocad.
i'm getting the following error message "dwg object improperly read".
please advise,

autocad's recover shows a lot of errors in the file.
dwgdirect's recover is able to load the file having fixed the errors.

just to be fully clear.
this file cannot be open directly by opendesign toolkit, unless it is fixed by autocad.
is it true, or there is a way to fix the errors by some opendesign tool.
i need to open this file (and others like that) without having to use autocad.
it is a very important issue for my customer, and i need to give him a detailed
reply on how to fix his files. (he is not using autocad)

autocad's recover command reports errors for this file so it has defects.
autocad's open does not report anything. this may mean that the errors are not fixed while "open" and they may result in unpredictable autocad's behavior while performing some operations after opening the file (up to autocad's crash).
dwgdirect refuses to open the file with readfile() because errors are encounted.
dwgdirect can load the file and fix problems if you call recoverfile() function instead of readfile().
