ellipse geometry inside a region.
ellipse geometry inside a region.
i am trying to work out the geometry for an ellipse that has been exploded from a region.
if i am in autocad, and explode the region, it explodes as a circle, and has a radius of 154.680.
if i explode this in opendwg, it explodes as an ellipse, and the centre points are identical, but the major and minor axis, when calculated, only work out to be 1.0?
i suppose what i am asking is, what is the correct procedure for working out the ellipse geometry, and or inside a region. i believe my ellipse calculations are correct, cause they work fine on every other drawing i have.

i need problem file and your ddt version. please, attach it.

also the region handle is 33c1, which is one of a few in the drawing.
i suspect it is something i am doing wrong, so thank you for your help.

it is bug in 1.12. we known about and it fixed in 1.13.
i have checked explode region with 1.13, it works fine.
btw : you can call find command in mfcapp with 33c1. region will be selected. right click and call explode commnad, draw file. very small circle in 1.12 and normal size circle in 1.13.
