dwf library name changes in 2.6.1
dwf library name changes in 2.6.1
it appears that the names of some of the dwf related libraries have changed in release 2.6.1 and i would like to verify this. in release 2.5.1, we had:
dd_vc2003ml_dwf7core.lib
dd_vc2003ml_dwf7toolkit.lib
dd_vc2003ml_dwf7w3dtk.lib
dd_vc2003ml_dwf7whiptk.lib
i do not find this discussed in the release notes, but in 2.6.1 it appears that the above are replaced by:
dwfcore.lib
dwftoolkit.lib
w3dtk.lib
whiptk.lib
is this correct? is this simply a name change or has the contents of these libraries changed? is there some reason for the name change? now we have to go change all projects that link with these libraries to link in the new library names. (not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.)
this seems like a simple question. is it possible to get an answer?
you are right - it was exactly the changes of names. these four libraries (dd_***_dwf7***.lib) simply renamed to (dwf***.lib). our apologies for absence of the description problem.
thank you for the response. i thought this was the case, but i just wanted to confirm that i wasn't missing something.
