dwf export with forced extents
dwf export with forced extents i am writing a dwg/dxf to dwf converter, but many of my drawings have no active view so i set the bforceinitialviewtoextents property in dwexportparams. unfortunately, this appears to have no effect. does anyone know why this doesn't work? if bforceinitialviewtoextents isn't the answer, would it be possible for me to load a dwg, then insert a new view before exporting to dwf? i am quite new to the dd library, so if anyone could outline the best way of doing this i would be very grateful. thanks, stuart quote: many of my drawings have no active view so i set the bforceinitialviewtoextents property in dwexportparams. always you have one view at least which is accepted as active. if bforceinitialviewtoextents is 'false' this one will be set and named as 'initial'. if bforceinitialviewtoextents is 'true' dimensions of 'initial' view are set as extents. this setting is meant for model space only. misha kuzinets thank you for the information. in my exported dwfs i am just seeing a tiny part of the bottom-left corner of my dwgs. do i need to setup the extents of this "initial" view you mentioned? what is the best way of doing this? thanks, stuart |
