i can't get a simple program using dwfexport to build on linux. it worked fine on windows, but i can't get everything to compile or link (depending on whether i am trying the dwfexport source or the lib files).
do you have a sample makefile that shows how to link in dwfexport on linux?
do you have to have autodesk's whiptoolkit on linux? if so, which version is needed? you don't have to have it on windows, but the dwfexport source code includes the header file.
dwf export on linux was one of the new functions listed for dwgdirect 1.10, so i know it should work.

you can use jam on linux. dwgdirect has jamfiles. do you have them?

as i know autodesk has not a version of whiptk for other platforms. we ported whiptk6 to linux ourselves. dwgdirect uses ported whiptk and the distribution has whiptk libs.

attached is a makefile that will build oddwfexportex on linux (compatible with dd version 1.11). it does not require autodesk's headers to build, and as misha pointed out, our linux distribution includes a ported version of the whip toolkit and other necessary libs.
