dd beta with 2004 support now available
there is a vc6 beta version of dwgdirect available on the windows download page, that will read 2004 dwg files (write support and full platform support will be coming soon).

hi,
i have an activex msvc6 project. with dwgdirect 1.06, all is good. with this beta version, i have a error : mfcs42d.lib(dllmodul.obj) : error lnk2005: _dllmain@12 already defined in msvcrtd.lib(dllmain.obj)
i use the dd_vc6mdd.lib, so i don't understand. have you an idea ?

i downloaded 1.07 yesterday to take a crack at the reading of 2004 files and i get "dwg file improperly loaded" when running the odreadex example and sending it any 2004 file.
anyone having success with it? maybe it's just me (hey it's happened before...)

i use parts of the kit to get at blocks, attributes, xrefs, attached images, and the thumbnail. i didnt rebuild the examples with 1.07, but i rebuilt my tools, using dd_vc6mt.lib, so far so good. reads r16 ok, still reads and writes r15 ok.

with mdiapp example, i can read and see a normal 2004 dwg, but not with a protected dwg. mdiapp ask me the password and crash.
