i am looking to incorporate dwgdirect libraries into grass (a open source gis) in order to read dxf vectors. there is already a module that uses the older opendwg toolkit libraries to do this, but i'd like to give the newer libs a try.
here is my trouble:
the files from opendwg toolkit that are needed are
ad2.a
ad2.h
adio.h
adinit.dat
can anyone help me figure out which files in dwgdirect corespond to these files? the structure of dwgdirect is a fair bit more complicated than the older toolkit, and i'm having lots of fun trying to figure out up from down

there are samples with dd. in the samples you may (probably) find everything you need. if you cannot find/undestand something specific, then ask your questions here.
