hi,
i generate from a shape file (one of the import tool of autocad map 2000i) a dwg file. one of the options in this import tool was to include "object data" from attribute data from the shape file (namely the informations related to the shape geographic objects from a dbf database).
this generate "object data" in autocad. when i generate dxf files, i see these attributes are in acad_xdictionary related to a acdbdictionary related to a cirdbaserecord. this seems to be the same with dwg.
i would like to get access to these object data. when i use odamfcapp, i see my entities related to acdbdictionary and related to proxyobject cirdobjrecord. in the list of groupcode, type and value, i see there is binary informations and i am pretty sure these are the binary values of my attributes. but without knowing the format i doubt i could access anything.
is there a way to access this information?

as i understand the data is stored as xrecords in xdictionary. you can access it using xrecord iterator. but to interpret the data you need to know its format.
